QS
Hi can anyone tell me if there has been any progress with the units under Qs club(bowling green) next to the quesada country club, it was a beauty salon for a short while and there seems to be some work going on there, we are hoping for a small supermarket but actually have no idea what its going to be ?
Quesada Wellbeing that was there is now in las Naciones 74, still with Toning Tables and holistic therapies as well as now offering business and personal mentoring especially for weight loss.
The units are empty and general info does not say any thing will be changing
Is it bowling they´re playing outside the QCC? Or is it called something else?
Fascinating to see the engagement - and tempting to try! :)
This is a very popular sport in the U.K we play it outdoors on grass and indoors on the same surface
as we have in Quesada, (to hot for grass in Spain). The idea of the game is simple, you have a smaller black ball that is at one end of the pitch, called the green, and you stand at the other and have 4 larger balls, you compeate with someone to try to get your balls as close to the small black one as possible, for every ball you get nearest to the black one you get a point. The first to 21 points wins. Its not as simple as it sounds as the balls you use have a weight in one side so does not go in a straight line.
Hope that explains Bowls
RODIZIO BRAZUKA RESTAURANT
Hi, Not property related! Does anyone know if the Brazilian restaurant Rodizio Brazuka in Torrevieja has closed down? I've tried ringing but engaged signal all the time & website doesn't seem to be working either. Thanks Angie
I can not confirm if it is closed down, but we walk passed last week looking for a place to eat for a special event coming up soon, and it was closed at the wrong time of the day.
LADIES LUNCH CLUB
Does anyone know of a "Ladies who Lunch" club or would any ladies be interested in starting one up in Quesada?
Lynn
There are several ladies clubs in the area, and there are various lunch clubs, but none I believe are just ladies in Quesada so that could be very interesting.
Let me know more.
Would anyone interested in "forming" a Ladies Who Lunch Club in Quesada please send me an email to [email protected]. I will be in Quesada on 6th April and would like to arrange an initial meeting after that date - thanks
There used to be a Quesada Ladies Lunch Club that met on Tuesdays at the Hotel Corazon.
I would love to come to this once it is set up as I am new so would be a great place to meet people, any info yet?
BEST PLACE TO EAT
I need to find a good place to eat next month for a very important event for 8 people in Quesada. I would be interested to hear from anyone who could recommend a place as I do not know many myself.
Myself & friends had a lovely lunch yesterday in the Banana Tree. €9 for 3 courses and a drink, very good Thai food.

One of the best places that I have been to is the WOK, there are a few of them around and so far I have done 3 of them. The one on the golf course is fine 7.95 eat as much as you can, the one just outside the arches to the right, 12.95 not very good at all. And the one in Dona Pepa GREAT place.
If you are looking for Spanish food then Goyo´s on the Town Hall Square, lovely food, and great people very varied menu
The Spice Hut is a good place for indian food and the Argentinian steak house opposite is also great for meat lovers
Try Frissan at San Miguel or Parkside in Los Montesinos. Always top quality food and service, great for a special occasion. Make sure you book early!!
If it's for a special occasion and if you don't mind going into Guadamar then Portico Mar takes some beating and I guarantee you'll get good food, fantastic service in really lovely surroundings. Otherwise Lets Eat in Benimar is also good. Maz
I can only thank you all so much for taking the time to answer my request, what great people live in Quesada. It's our 50th wedding
anniversary, and we have our 3 children and spouses coming over. I cannot remember the last time we were all together in the same room so
it's very special for us both.
You must let us know where you end up going. Hope you all have a really great time. Maz
Our choices would be: Let's Eat, Benimar, Porticomar, Guardamar, El Gusto, Benijofar, the WOK opposite Atalaya. All of them offer a la carte or MDD. Congratulations and hope you have a lovely evening with your family.
if its a special occasion i would go a little further out into Rojales there is a stunning place very quaint its called Viloriens
I agree with Zumba with Lisa's comment. Veloriens really is a little bit extra special for an occassion such as yours. It's a little bit off the beaten track to Quesada but worth it!
I would recommend Portico Mar in Guardamar. Excellent food , service and nice surroundings.
Yes Frissan at San Miguel is gorgeous, we go with friends as a treat whenever we are over at our place in Dona Pepa, but you have to book early to get a table
Opposite La Laguna Hotel is Chinatown Laguna which is Chinese. They have an all you can eat for 10 euros each (not Wok buffet style, much better than that) consisting of starters, then soup and crispy duck pancakes, followed by main course, as long as you eat what you order it's 10 Euros, or around the back of there, is the Indian Ocean restuarant, or over by the La Marquesa golf course is the La Marquesa Chinese. All are excellent food and hard to chose between.
EASTER HOLIDAYS
Hi all

NEW BUILDING WORK
Does anyone know what the building is going to be next to the Mercadona at Atalaya and also behind Lidl at Lo Marabu? TIA
Without a doubt the two Javiers in Benimar are absolutely fantastic, I cannot praise them enough. They love dogs, pure and simple, please don't go anywhere else.
Their website is as follows and the phone number is 966712707.

If you call in someone is always happy to have a chat with you, they are better than any vet I ever had in the UK.
